A family owned and operated, growing business in Penn Yan, NY with over 75 years of combined experience in the industry, serving the Finger Lakes Region and beyond. We stand behind our work, remain in constant contact, and are always up front with what repairs your boat needs. We are honest and trustworthy and know that our customers only deserve the best, which is what you will get from Hullings Hulls.
As a child, Adam went with his father, Ralph, to work and began plugging boats while his father did restorations. As he grew, so did his passion for boats and the industry. They worked at another locally owned business for a combined 35 years before deciding to venture on their own. In March 2015, Adam acquired a 6250 square foot, empty shell of a building and turned it into a 3000 sq ft restoration shop and 3250 sq ft storage area. In just a year, with the help of friends and family, they were able to build and furnish the shop, with the necessary machinery, establish a steady stream of clients and have restored/repaired over 30 boats thus far. Because of their outstanding restoration experience, reputation, and word of mouth, Adam and Ralph were able to build and maintain relationships with many local vendors and customers from the Finger Lakes region and across the country. They have attended many local, antique boat shows, and have established connections with the Wine Country Classic Boat Club and the Finger Lakes Boating Museum. In November of 2017, they were proud to add Ken Johnson to the team; with his 30 years of experience as a marine technician, they are confident his strength and experience will even better their team and expand their horizons.
Their mission is to provide superior service, quality and commitment to their customers that they deserve at a competitive price. They pride themselves on the quality of work that they do and have done in the past. These guys genuinely care about their customers and do their best to go above and beyond the quality level the customers would like if they are allowed to do so. They believe in keeping in constant contact and taking many pictures along the way so you can see what progress has been made and what actually goes into restoring or repairing your boat.
